For Windows 95/98/Me/NT4, go into Control Panel | Modems and click on the Diagnostics tab. Highlight the COM port the Zoom modem is using and click on More Info. In the list of commands and responses, look at the ATI3 response. If it indicates a version earlier than 6.00, you will need to download and install 2925_v600.exe.

For Windows 2000/XP, ATI3 is found under Control Panel | Phone and Modem Options - Modem. Highlight the Zoom modem and click on Properties and then on Query Modem. If it indicates a version earlier than 6.00, you will need to download and install 2925_v600.exe.
