Model 5363: Changing the Configuration Manager login

Note: The Username to log into Zoom Modem/Router Model 5363 must remain as admin. The Username cannot be changed. The password is editable, limited to a maximum of eight characters. Please be aware that the Zoom unit will accept more than eight characters but only register the first eight characters for the password.

1. Open a web browser (IE: Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.)

2. In the address bar type 192.168.0.1

3. When at the login page, type admin for the Username and Password

4. Click on the Router tab

5. From the left side click on Management

6. For the Old Password, type admin

7. Enter new password (limited to maximum of 8 characters only)

8. Re-Enter Password

9. Click Apply

10. After changing the password the modem/router will reboot to save changes. Now you can log into the Zoom 5363 using admin for the username and the new password that you assigned to the unit.
