How do I set the Dialer 15 to trigger on off-hook, especially for use in an elevator emergency phone or a pager? No other number will be dialed from the phone.

Plug in the power cube and connect the Dialer 15 to a phone line to the WALL (2 wire, like home or fax line). Plug a phone into the other jack of the Dialer. Dial ALL of the following SIX commands (one from each group). After each successful entry the Dialer 15 will give you a BEEP. If you make a mistake you may just hang up and re-do the line. Hang up between each successful entry or entry attempt. You may do entries in any order, But I suggest doing this order.

## *1 # number # location *1, insert the phone 'number' you want to dial ex: ## *1 # 1 800 555 1212 #

## 11 # 411 # dial after ¾ second pause

## *2 # # location *2, a NULL number

## 12 # 131 # Finish dialing command

## 9* # 41411 # Trigger command [##9*#41110#] (Trigger instantly - not recommended)

## 0* # 3 # always dial number in location *1 (see first command)

This sets the Dialer 15 to dial the number stored in location *1 every time the phone is taken off-hook, after a slight pause (safest). Alternate commands are in [brackets].

>>> NOTE: An extra command you may find useful. This controls tone duration and loudness. ##3*#XY# where X->speed 5=fast(default) 1=slow. Y->loudness 1=loud(default) 0=soft. Ex: ## 3* # 50 # (fast-soft).

Important NOTE: If you set instant dialing or have trouble putting in a number re-do the Trigger 9* command. Hold the # key as you come off-hook and enter ##9*#14411# (no trigger). Then enter any commands you need. When they are entered, re-enter your 9* command.

>>>> NOTE: If the modem doesn't dial, swap phone lines in back of the modem. if you use a voice-modem to program the dialer be sure the Dialer 15 is between the modem and wall. Voice modems (some others) cut off the 2nd jack.
