Note: Do not have your modem connected to the router nor to the PC. Also be sure to reset the router to factory defaults.
- Connect the Ethernet cable from your computer to the LAN port on the back of the router
- Open an Internet Explorer page and on the address bar type http://192.168.1.1
- Log in using the admin password
- Click on the Advanced menu at the top
- Click on Basic Setup on the left pane
- Set the WAN Type to 3G and enter the settings that are required by your 3G provider. Such as APN, Username, Password, Dialed Number, PIN, etc…
- Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page
- Click on the Advanced menu at the top
- Click on Toolbox at the top
- Click on Reboot on the left pane
- When the modem reboots log back into the router using the admin password
- Click on the Status menu at the top
- Connect your 3G modem onto the USB port on the router and it should connect and provide an IP Address.
