To view and enjoy the features of some websites, Plugins may be required for your computer. We suggest you install the following Plugins through Firefox before using your ZDTV.
- move your mouse over Help on the left side of the screen and click on exit ZDTV, or
- move your mouse to the extreme right edge of the screen below the ZDTV logo and let it hover for several seconds (or press F2) and move your mouse over Now Playing. Then click on Exit ZDTV, or
- press F10 to exit.
- Go to the Adobe Flash Player download page by clicking on: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
- Click Get Adobe Flash Player.
- Uncheck any checked boxes of additional programs you do not want to download such as Free McAfee Security Scan Plus (optional).
- Click Agree and install now.
- Click Allow on the pop-up message at the top of the webpage.
- Click Install Now.
- Click Restart Firefox on the pop-up message at the top of the Add-ons screen.
- Click Yes when you get the message “Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?”.
- Close Download Manager.
- Close Add-ons screen.
- Congratulations! You have successfully installed Adobe Flash Player.
- Go to the Move Media Player download page by clicking on:
http://www.movenetworks.com/install-move-player - Click Download.
- Click Save File.
- On the Downloads screen, double-click MoveMediaPlayerWin.exe
- Click Run.
- On the Move Networks page, you should see “Install Complete!” followed by the message “Is video with audio playing in the window below?” Click Yes or No depending on what you see.
- If you clicked No, follow the on-screen instructions.
- If you clicked Yes, you are done.
- Go to the Microsoft Silverlight download page by clicking on:
http://www.microsoft.com/Silverlight/Install.aspx - Click on Install the free Plug-in.
- Click Save File.
- On the downloads screen, double-click Silverlight.exe.
- Click Run.
- Click Yes when you get the message “Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?”.
- Click Install now.
- Uncheck or leave checked “Enable Microsoft Update (recommended)” depending on your preference.
- Click Next.
- If you see “Installation successful” click Close.
- Either press F5 on your keyboard or click the refresh icon on your browser’s toolbar to ensure these changes take effect.
- Close the Downloads window by clicking the x at the top right corner.
- Open your Firefox browser by double-clicking the Firefox icon on your desktop.
- Click Tools.
- Click Options.
- In the Add-ons section in the General tab, click Manage Add-ons.
- Click on the Plugins tab.
- Scroll down to see if the following are displayed in the screen:
Move Streaming Media Player
Shockwave Flash
Silverlight Plug-In - Click the x at the top right corner to exit the window.
- If you do not see all 3 of these Plugins, go to the appropriate sections of the instructions above to install the missing Plugins.
- If you see all 3 of these Plugins, you are done.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed the Plugins and are ready to enjoy your ZDTV experience.
Note: There may be other websites you wish to use that have their own proprietary Plugins. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the required Plugins as necessary.
