NOTE: Before proceeding with the Remote Admin Setup you must make sure your ADSL modem is configured properly for internet access. Please follow the Basic Setup Instructions in the Manual.
**The following instructions are for Firmware ver. 2.0.3 and later**
To check firmware version log into modems Admin Console and click ADSL Status at top.
To access the modem's Admin Console from a WAN side remote Internet location follow these steps:
- Click Advanced Setup button from the top.
- Click Management Control Button
- Place a check mark in the box under WAN Access for HTTP.
- Click Save Settings
- Click Write Settings to Flash
Now you may access the Zoom modems Admin Web Console remotely from the Internet side of the modem.
**The following instructions are for Firmware ver. 1.0.6 and earlier**
To check firmware version log into modems Admin Console and click ADSL Status at top.
To access the modem's Admin Console from a WAN side remote Internet location follow these steps:
- Login to the modems Admin Console at 10.0.0.2
- Go To Advanced Setup
- Click the button Virtual Server/DMZ
- Click Add Virtual Server/DMZ link
- Specify the Internal LAN IP address of the the modem 10.0.0.2.
- From the Protocol drop down menu select TCP.
- Specify port 80 to be opened in the Port box.
- Click on Save Changes
- Click on Write Settings to Flash
Now you may access the Zoom modems Admin Web Console remotely from the Internet side of the modem.
NOTE: To access the modem's admin console from the internet you must know your WAN IP address. To find out what your WAN IP address is click on the System Status button on the top bar and locate your WAN side IP address.
