How do I stealth my ports for additional security?

Stealthing ports on the WAN side of your router will add additional security from possible attacks or port scans. To Stealth the ports on this modem please follow these steps:

• Go To Advanced Setup
• Click on NAT
• Select NAT Rule Entry from the drop down menu click on Add
  • Rule Flavor: Select RDR
  • Rule ID: enter 5 (by default there already 4 rules, so the next one is 5) Under no circumstances should you remove rule 1.
  • If Name: Select All
  • Protocol: ANY
  • Local Address From: 10.0.0.252
  • Local Address To: 10.0.0.252
  • Global Address From: 0.0.0.0
  • Global Address To: 0.0.0.0
  • Destination Port From: 0
  • Destination Port To: 65535
  • Local Port: 0
  • Click on Save Changes
  • Click on Write Settings to Flash
