I want to use a Zoom modem to connect to my Sprint DSL service, which uses PPPoE (RFC 2516), Alcatel DMT chipset, and G.DMT standard. Would the Zoom ADSL Modem USB Model 5510 be compatible with this network?

Yes. Our latest ADSL Modem USB software and drivers supports these network layer protocols:

RFC 1483 - Multi-Protocol encapsulation over AAL5
RFC 1577 - Classical IP
RFC 2364 - PPPoATM (WAN and ATM)
RFC 2516 - PPPoE
