Zoom/Modem V.92 USB (3090/3090A/3090AF)

Please Note: The modem's serial number is the best way to find the correct support files. The serial number is located under the barcode on the bottom label (bottom of modem) as well as on the box the modem came in. It uses either of the following formats, and note the corresponding model number:

xxxx-(x)3090-xx-xx-xxxx = Model 3090
xxxx-(x)3090-xx-xxA-xxxx = Model 3090-xxA

The driver files for Model 3090 will not work with Model 3090A/3090AF, or vice versa. So please be sure to download the correct files for your modem!

Model 3090A/3090AF
Select an operating system to download:

Windows Vista 32-bit (.exe file)       03/02/07      Size: 2.15 MB    
This driver supports WINDOWS VISTA 32-BIT systems only. After extracting this file, open the newly created "Zoom_V92USB_Setup" folder and refer to the ReadMe document for installation instructions.
Note: The Modem-on-Hold feature is not supported.

Windows Vista 64-bit (.exe file)       03/02/07      Size: 2.68 MB    
This driver supports WINDOWS VISTA 64-BIT systems only. After extracting this file, open the newly created "Zoom_V92USB_Setup" folder and refer to the ReadMe document for installation instructions.
Note: The Modem-on-Hold feature is not supported.

Windows XP 64-bit (.exe file)       06/29/06      Size: 1 MB    
This driver supports Windows XP x64 (64-bit) systems only. After extracting this file, open the newly created ZoomV92USB_WINXPX64_Setup folder and refer to the ReadMe document for installation instructions.

Windows XP / 2003 Server (.exe file)   Driver v7.12.05   
This self-extracting file contains driver version 7.12.05 for use with Windows XP and 2003 Server as well as Windows XP & 2003 Server systems with hyperthreading processors. Instructions are included. Note that you must uninstall any previously installed Zoom USB drivers and NetWaiting applications.

If you are using the V.92 Modem-on-Hold feature, you will need to download and install NetWaiting 2.5.5.  You must first remove any previously installed versions of NetWaiting. This can be done through the Add or Remove Programs control panel.

Please Note: If you ran the USB Modem setup from Zoom CD PN: 289-00177-A or later, you already have the latest driver and NetWaiting versions for Windows XP.
   

Windows 98SE/Me/2000* (.exe file)  Driver v6.00.07 and NetWaiting v2.5.3
This self-extracting file contains driver version 6.00.07 and NetWaiting Modem-on-Hold application version 2.5.3. This setup is for use with Windows 98SE/Me/2000 (98 first edition not supported). If the InstallShield does not launch automatically after extracting this file, run Setup.exe from the "Zoom V.92 USB 3090A" folder.

*This installer is NOT an update. It is the same installer included on Zoom CD PN: 289-00115-A that came with your modem.

Model 3090

Model 3090 Driver and NetWaiting Installer (.exe file) This self-extracting file contains an updated driver file as well as the Modem-on Hold application for the Zoom/Modem V.92 USB Mini Model 3090. The installer will run on Windows 98/98SE/Me/2000/XP** (see XP note below).

** Windows XP users: Microsoft made significant changes to the inner workings of USB in Windows XP. This change caused the minimum system requirements for the Model 3090 to include a Pentium 3 750 MHz and /or equivalent PC for Windows XP. Our packaging, which was originally designed before Windows XP's introduction, is being changed to add the system requirements for XP.
